How to be a Depot for the Spay Neuter Express

What we require:

One volunteer from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

A building that has main floor space and is easily accessible to park the train nearby. The building would be used for passengers to congegrate and fill out boarding passes for their pets.

This building would also need to be utilized to house the passengers until it is time for them to board the train for surgery, and then provide a warm dry place for them to stay until they are discharged at 4:30 pm. Bathroom facilities would be very nice for the crew.

We also need a local volunteer who will publicize the event, by placing posters, contacting local media, and local animal rescue groups and individuals in need. All materials will be made available to you.

For locations beyond 100 miles from Lowell there may be an additional charge to cover travel expenses. If these are necessary, they will be discussed a head of time.

The train can make arrangements to stop on a regular periodic basis or as a one time event, depending on the need in the area. We need 30 animals each day. If we have an all cat day we can handle 40.

If you have a location and know of a volunteer(s) who will provide the help needed, please send an email to Bruce Langlois DVM at Email: brucelangloisdvm@yahoo.com
