What To Expect

*Appointments are required.*

What to expect for surgery:

1. We ask that animals scheduled for surgery arrive NO LATER THAN 9AM to ensure our Doctor, staff, and most importantly your pets have the time they need to complete surgery and recover.

2. Animals having surgery should refrain from any food after midnight the night before their surgery. They can have water. Any animals under the age of 4 months should have a small meal of canned food the morning of their surgery.

3. Surgery check-in is between 8AM-9AM You will be given a discharge time at check-in for surgery. Pick up times vary, but typically will be early afternoon the same day.

4. If your animal is scheduled for surgery and you would like them to have vaccinations and/or test please arrive with any prior records you may have and notify our staff at check-in.

More important info:

1.We ask that animals receiving vaccinations and/or routine testing arrive anytime between 9AM-10AM, please arrive with any prior vaccination records you may have for that pet. Vaccines/testing appointments should take about 15-20 Minutes, you will not be dropping your animal off.

2.Cats need to arrive in separate secured carriers. We recommend adding a small towel (ex: old dish/kitchen towel or small t-shirt)

3.Dogs need to arrive on leashes. Please allow your dog to exercise and use the bathroom prior to check in.
